Ya, we better hold onto him. He seems to love it here.

Me too ... that's the only thing that worries me about this "rebuilding/stripdown" plan ... that at the trading deadline we look to deal someone like Colome, Young (even Rauch and the Chief) ....which I get would be useful for prospects and all ... but I would just hate that ..

Someone with a 16.88 should never go, 1-2-3!!!

By default, he should give up a run.

However, I think we need to embrace the idea that at least 5 or 6 of our players will be dealt in the next 6 weeks or so.

The only player on this team i am willing to part with is Young. Sorry man, you're just not part of our future. When Nicky J comes back we have no use for him. He deserves to play on a  AL team so he can DH everyday.

Agreed ... I get that it will happen - I'm just not going to like it in the short term .. hated to see Daryl Ward and Livo and Marlon Anderson go last year - but I get it has to happen to some degree ...

I might honestly spaz out and maybe even cry if Belly is dealt. Especially if he is gone before next Friday, when i get to see the team live for the first time in Toronto.

I will give him a standing ovation and a tip of the cap - thank him and wish him nothing but the best - he's been awesome for the Nats - and I'm happy for him the way he's overcome so much adversity - my pick for comeback player of the year (him and Guz)

They wouldn't deal him this early would they?

A literate Pittsburgh sportswriter can now say that Sharpless was sharp.

Tomorrows game will be very interesting with two young guys going at it. Snell is one of the best young arms in the league, he is real solid. I guess you could say the same for Chico too. Chico has really gradually morphed into a reliable starter.

We've had a month's worth of lead-off walks.

Runners on the corners, no outs.
