oh well we lost by two.  man oh man.  willingham and belliard need to come through with bases loaded and one out.  at least get one in there.

i've been impressed with kearns.  he really had a nice swing on that one, carroll made a nice play.

Definitely. It was a pretty good AB. He's a solid hitter.

Can we be any more unluckier? god damn it this sucks. That had 2-run single all over it. and then the guy nearly drops the ball only to hold on to it for the last out. so depressing.

This has to be some kind of record for starting pitchers sucking in an Opening series.

this is pure torture. Can't wait to hear Manny talk about how positive this game was and how we only lost by 2. He will likely also suck off Cabrera for pitching "well" for 4 innings only to blow up in the 5th.

After Zimmermann gets called up, we need to have open tryouts for the order of the starting rotation. In other words, if Olsen and Cabrera wind up 4 & 5 in the rotation, so be it. Nobody in this rotation, except maybe Lannan, has earned the benefit of any doubt.

If Martis and Zimmermann are two of our three best pitchers, then so be it.
