I'm not sayng we can get Roy Halladay or even the next Roy Halladay - but I think in some respects, Harris is more tradable than Guzman and playing him might not be a bad idea if you're looking to get ANYTHING for him.  I think he'd actually be more valuable to most teams than Guzman would because Harris is the type of guy you'd like to have rounding out your bench whereas Guzman is the type who will sit on the bench and pout because he's not starting.

Well, yeah, I'm saying don't downplay the return for Belliard.

Sadly, I wish this were true.  I really like Willie, but he hits worse than most pitchers.  I can't see a market for such a limited skill set.

If Willie was hitting .230 or so I'd believe we could move him. But .151 is just terrible.

If Willie goes 0-4 tonight you have to wonder how Rizzo justifies keeping him up over maxwell, lambin, or whiting.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Harris can be sent down without DFA'ing him.  Even as bad as he's been, I doubt a guy like Harris makes it through waivers.  I also doubt he consents to being sent down even if he did.

I have to wonder what happened to Willie this year.  He had 3 good years in row v. RHP.  If you don't at least acknowledge that, your as blind as anyone who thinks he's played well this year.  It may be they think that a few starts against righties can get him going again.

Frankly, we will not have the extra bat in the line up after we are through with this series, and after that we will not have the chance to give him starts.  I do think this is a try to get him going so he can possibly be traded.  If he does not hit, then you might see a release the next time there is a roster squeeze.

5 years in the bigs and you can't be sent down without consent, and then there's waivers.

Willie looks like a guy that's trying to hit the ball 500' every at bat. He is getting himself out by being overly aggressive. He needs to spend a weekend with Tim Lincecum. :pimp:

When's the last time Guzman and Morgan got on base to start the game? 1912?

If Zimmerman's down 0-2, the DP is definitely coming.

Zimm should have dived in front of that pitch.
