Nope. I don't care if we lose to the mets. A loss is a loss. I don't like the mets but I don't have the hatred some people have for them. If we beat them it only helps the phillies and I don't like them either.

All we can do is beat both of them.

So, you are for us tanking for the first pick now?  :)

That was a strike. Oh well, Perez loves nibbling.

I see the good in a win or a loss for the Nats tonight.

The only thing I really want to happen is for the sorry-ass Padres to actually win.  If they lose on a second consecutive night, especially if the Nats also lose, I'm going to be fuming.

Lowe is on the mound for a pumped up Dodgers' team tonight. I wouldn't expect the Pads to win.

The Mariners are up 8-6 over Texas in the 7th.

Ugh, sickening.  That team has no excuse for being this bad.  They have Adrian Gonzalez and Jake Peavy, for freak's sakes.

I'd rather lose to the Mets than the Phillies.  Two teams in baseball I'm beside myself when my team loses to them: Phillies and Red Sox.

I have faith in our boys tonight.

And yes I would love to be in the Diamondbacks position - at least they are in a playoff race and have better young line-up/rotation/bullpen than us.

And I'd take Rauch back if the D-backs don't want it.

The D'Backs young players for the most part are mediocre. They are building with the wrong players. Too many high strike-out, all or nothing type hitters. We'll win a World Series before they do (again).

Agreed.  Their only young player with good plate discipline is Conor Jackson.  The rest of them need a lot of work and are going to have to get way better.

He cranked that freaking ball on a line. That thing would've been close to 450 had he elevated it. That was nice.

Since when has Damian Easley turned into Roberto Alomar defensively? Oh yeah, only when he plays against the Nats.  :?

Nieves has been swinging pretty well lately from what I've seen. He'll have a spot here next year.

It'll be interesting to see him and Montz battle for the back-up catcher spot in ST. Whoever loses will probably start the year in AAA but I'm sure we'll see both of them at some point next year.

Haha. The world is against the Nats. Everyone rearranges the colors on our uniform to look like a target.

Nice walk by Bernadina, though Pelfrey wasn't giving him anything.
