WILD PITCH: score for Philadelphia...Booooooooooooooo!

THEN he strikes out the other two!  C'mon Loaiza...why couldn't you have done that BEFORE the wild pitch!  GRRRRRRRR!

No, his mistake in the last inning was even worse!!! Why did  he try to score??!?!?!? ARGH!!!

I think the blame should be on the 3rd base coach. He should have never sent Loiaza home on that single. But, that's just my opinion.

you guys think Guillen is frustarted about everything??? does anyone know how the other players on the nats like guiilen...is he a disturbance at all ???

When you look at camera shots of the guys on the bench, he's always smiling or laughing when he's talking or interacting with the other players. If he wasn't liked, he would feel it and not be so cheerful, so I think they all like him great and they all get along. Guillen is nothing like the disturbed player he has been portrayed to be. He was upset last year because he wanted to play and because Mike Scioscia is who he is...(insert choice expletive here)

I agree Ernie about the 3rd base coach...but Loaiza showed NO hustle at all: he did a Livan - shuffle to home plate.  I hate it when players don't even TRY.  But that's just me.

I've said it once and I'll say it again:  Dave Huppert is a lousy 3rd base coach.  He's caused us crucial runs numerous times this year with his misreads.

Don't blame Loaiza because the third base coach (Dave Huppert) sent him

Anybody's watchign the game???

Castilla got hit by a pitch and it was written injury delay??

This isn't even funny...we'll soon have much more injured players...NJ and CHurch will comeback that's some great news.

I'm watching it on MLB TV ... The injury delay was because the trainer came out to check Castilla

Yeah, either that, or maybe HE'S INJURED TOO.

(I'm still pissed about Guillen getting hurt.  I have nightmares of hearing the words "deep bone bruise" and "15-Day DL.")

Where is Schnieder????  I'm worried about being able to simply field a team now.

The Nats are playing with a short bench (three players unavailable, with Guzman not available, Blanco not available, Spivey on the DL and not replaced) and Frank is pinch hitting when he doesn't have to. What part of dumbass is that?

With the exception of Patterson and Ayala, every member of the pitching staff should be available today.  Would be nice if Loiaza can take us to the Chief.

GUILLEN: WHAT A CHAMP.

Every time I feel somewhat leery about him (is he too much of a live wire?  will he get plunked and overreact in a tight situation?) he does something so friggin' gutsy like that.

Sometimes I think FR manages like we're still in Grapefruit play.
