that show is awful. i got through like 7 episodes before i realized its just an absurdly ridiculous show and i lost all interest. whiny girl as the lead and an overall concept that is cool but executed so terribly

+1. They don't seem to have any idea of where they intend to take the show. The writing is terrible.

I'm watching it... not much else that's interesting.

One thing I do like abour Revolution is that they seem to keep moving the plot forward. Each week you learn a little more. And I do like the character's back stories.

Although, it's a little far fetched to see the head of DoD hanging around a small startup and getting in everyone's personal business.

The flashbacks are riveting in Revolution. We have watched everything up to the last few episodes.

she really is whiny (kinda attractive, but really whiny).  but i'm going to stick with it for a bit longer.

i like a lot of the cast.

back to the girl ... one minute she's crying that billy burke won't help her and then when he is helping her she says she can stick up for herself.

It's a network show, obviously it's going to be awful.

Not sure how anyone could be interested based on the previews. That lead chick looked terrible.

I was hoping that the show would be more than just about her and the supporting story/actors would pick it up, plus I thought the concept was OK.

Watching the show, though, and it's obvious that the writing is terrible and the acting is even worse.

I had a dream last night that I wanted to get along with somebody and they started talking about how Everybody Loves Raymond was a work of artistic genius, so we got in this enthusiastic discussion about the artistry of Everybody Loves Raymond.

Concept was cool, but 99% of network shows are corny and 99% of sci fi is corny.

It's unfortunate, because I love good sci fi. It's so hard to find, though.

But the lead chick was so obviously awful in the previews I rolled my eyes.

Regarding Revolution, I'm going to stick with it.  I know the main girl is annoying (think Michonne from Walking Dead and Dana from Homeland, but at least she's somewhat attractive) ... BUT there are some strong actors sprinkled in, with a solid crew working on the show and as mentioned ... the concept is awesome.

Oh and Elisabeth Mitchell :az:

plus it's HOF Billy Burke.

Person of Interest is pretty good. It has a very similar tone and execution to Batman Begins.

Agreed. I don't rank Spaceballs with Young Frankenstein or The Producers (68) by any means, but that movie is still awesome.

yeah, that wasn't one of his finest - but young frankenstein and blazing saddles are classics.  I didn't realize he's one of a handful of people who have won an oscar, a tony, a grammy, and an emmy.  For 86, he's doing pretty well.

I always thought the scene where they pull out a copy of "Spaceballs the Movie" and fast forward ahead of where they are now in the movie to find Lone Star was pure comedy genius.

"What the hell am i looking at"?

"You are looking at now sir, everything that's happening now is happening now"

"What happened to then"

"We passed then"

"When"

"Just now"
