LaRoche has been woeful at the plate this season.  I hope he has a meteoric 2nd half :?

He'll have to be batting damn near 400 to get to his career averages!

Ball was a seed. LaRoche has made some solid contact the last couple of games right at people.

Nice call by Riggleman on that double steal.

Only certain sections were $1 and they all sold out.

I believe.

That's the point.

The $1 sections were probably what, 100 tickets total?

What a joke.

Right, $1 tickets were sold in limited sections. Are the $1 sections full?

My bad, gotcha.

How are the left center and upper deck seats not $1? Stupid.

Edit: Honestly, it looks horrible for PR when you advertise a $1 ticket night and then no one is there. Cue the "can't give away tickets to Nats games" reports.

Did they ever announce how many dollar tickets there were?  They should have had 10,000 of them.

Agreed. Joke. The Nats should have offered the whole upper deck for a buck. Anyone who paid full price and complains, get's a lower bowl upgrade for free.

There is a benefit to the appearance of lots of people being in the stands sometimes, especially for television.  They need to think big picture.

It looked like it might rain. Washingtonians, even with tickets, stay home.

Quite a few empty seats in my $1 section.

Certain sections.

So the $1 food is not available throughout the ball park?  Regular prices everywhere else, for the exact same hot dogs, peanuts, etc?  How many sections and what are the lines like?
 :$$$: :pimp:

The idea of a promotion like this is that they make money selling you beer and sodas and other stuff. Fast food restaurants make money off the fries and sodas.

What the hell was that Michael Morse?  I'd rather have Ryan Langerhans...

This game is intensely boring.
