Someone pointed out here the other day that Bowie is not very effective against lefties, if so, why is he still being used for lefty v. lefty matchups?

He has been so much more effective against righties, and while I understand trying to see what he can do, I don't like the situation or that he is taken out with a righty up.

Of course, I did not understand any of the subs in the 7th. Nook batting for Bergie with 2 outs, no on on? Ugh. Langerhans hits better against lefties than righties, yet he is pulled for Batista who is just now been called up? Ugh. Langerhans seemed an obvious choice to play 1B when they pulled Fick for Belliard. Oh well, the lab experiment continues.
