We really face Hudson, Hanson, and Beachy in Atlanta? Wow that's three straight losses. Will be lucky to score more than 5 runs total in the series.

Deb asks "hockey questions"   ...  Is that something you can build on?    WTF is that?

I think if Henry Rodriguez sucks enough, then he can get DFA'd without another team claiming him and we can stash him in AAA for the rest of the year forever.

We should really just release him and save ourselves the hassle.

SF let's make a friendly wager that the Nats score at least 6 runs in those games.

I felt horrible for HRod. After what CB went through last year I was cringing on every pitch Hrod through. Thank God he didn't hit anyone. The only advantage CB had last year over HRod this year is that the Nats could send CB back to AAA and work it out. Which they did and CB has figured it out.   HRod can't go to AAA but I do see another DL stint coming.

Yeah, he could be a great guy and we wouldn't know, would we? He didn't make the trade, Rizzo did. Good post, Spinman.

Huh?

People are acting like he's got leprosy or murdered somebody. He could be a super cool guy that struggles with control.

I don't really care about him personally, he shouldn't be pitching after what I saw today.

Im impressed with broderick ... no joke.

Broderick is a good pitcher, when they were getting hits they were infield grounders.

Where's the "undo" key on trades? I want Willingham back. Even hitting .226, he'd be a star hitter in this Nats OF; his five HR would make him a heavy-weight slugger.

Meanwhile, what does HRod bring? Or Corey Brown? Potential? "Upside"?

The parts I saw it seemed like Johnny and Ray were not getting along very well.  It was strange.  Johnny threw his papers on the ground when Ray corrected him I think.

Ha!  Ray Knight is about to start the "this is just unacceptable at the Major League level" talk again.  Can't wait.

I think they are about to talk about Harper.  I think that's when it got weird, wasn't watching closely the first time around.

I love when Ray Knight gets heated.  The Silver Fox is not to be messed with.

Johnny:  "He hit .290 against Nolan Ryan."
Ray:  "You're wrong I hit .347."
Johnny:  "You gave me the wrong numbers!!!"
