Pretty ridiculous premise and  glad they left this gem in there:

Added shortstop Ian Desmond, tongue firmly in his cheek: “I ride a wheelchair when I’m not on the field.”

What next - Werth doesn't leave his house without blackface or taking his "Soul Man" pills so he can stay relaxed and focused?  Zimmermann puts on his best CP impersonation to the keep his legs loose?

I thought it was an interesting read. I know some of it definitely sounds ridiculous from our point of view but these are millionaire athletes with million dollar bodies. You gotta do whatever you can to protect that because its your livelihood.
