That's why I want a power hitter because we win alot of close ball games...and like I've said this ''POWER HITTER'' could make the difference in a game by just one swing.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd think it would look kinda funny (though not necessarily insulting).  If you want an Expos/Nats avatar, I'm sure we could come up with some ideas that could be photoshopped.

Last year in the Expos forum and when the Washington board started up, we were talking about possible logos for the team. One of the suggestions was the upside down expos logo. Personally, I wouldn't think it insulting. If anyone was to use it, it wouldn't bother me...

Me, it'd bother me like hell.Just kiddin' same here, anybody could use it......

It's 4-2...not 3-2...so...we've a chance to win..this extra run helped us alot.

All due respect to Montreal and the fans Ken...but I personally think the Expos logo sucked.  Looks like a someone spelling out the world "ELB" in a 70s hippie font or something.

That's exactly what it is.  ELB:  Expos ligue de baseball.  Of course, it's hip.  Montreal was the swinging capital of the late '60s and early '70s.

Atlanta is down by 4 in the 9th.  We need this one to get some elbow room.

I knew about the "b" and I knew about the "e", but they were trying to get an "l" in there, two?

Anyway, I thought by cutting and flipping the "b" and "e" in the Expos' logo, I could make it into a "d.c."...sort of like what you see in the Wizards' logo.

Howard only plays 1B, they tried him in left field and it was a total failure. If the Nats were to deal for Howard, they might as well trade Johnson for a first class starter.

Im confused Ken...I was talking about Philadelphia's Ryan Howard making a game-tying home run.  And I was joking earlier that we might be jinxed with players having the last name HOWARD...i.e.  Frank "Hondo" Howard?

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this one.  FR brought in Eischen to intentionally walk Perez?  If he was only trying to buy time for Cordero, he could've used Majewski to walk Perez and kept Eischen for later.  I'm gonna throw up...

To be fair to Eischen, it was Majewski who blew it.  Which he usually does not.  Let's pull this out and all is forgiven.

Here's what I suspect.  Frank saw Eischen nearly throw away an intentional ball and that was enough for him to decide that this game wasn't going to be left in Eischen's hands.

I believe earlier on in his career, Eischen was also nicknamed "The Wild Thing."

Why is it every time I look at the boxscore, I see our batters have over 10 strikeouts and only 1 or 2 base-on-balls?  We're not a home-run hitting team, yet we're whiffing all the time.  This game should've been over already!!!
