Congratulations, NOTLD. I remember those days fondly.

And you'll find that sleep is over-rated anyway. :)

When one of my best friends had a baby (gad, its been about 14 years now!); I asked her husband, "how's it goin'?"

He said, Oh you know, the usual, "Eat, Sleep, Scream, POOP, Eat, Sleep, Scream, POOP!"

Oh, yeah, also his daughter never farted, she "fluffed".

I remember the shock it caused when I discovered that females farted too.

congrats dude.

children are a handful, but completely worth every single headache and sleepless night.

PROTIP: Once your baby sleeps through the night, immediately establish a bed time and bedtime routine, and stick with it. You'll thank me when the baby is 4 or 5 and you don't have to fight with them to get them to go to bed(like I do with mine). lmao.

Thanks, man. I completely agree. I haven't slept a full night in a week and I am constantly exhausted, but I haven't complained once. She is a total blessing for me and my wife.

Eat. Sleep. Poop. That is pretty much the schedule she is on right now. She only wakes up once or twice a night which hasn't been all that bad.

That's pretty much it for about six months.  The hardest part comes at about 4:00 a.m. in month #3 and you just want to get some sleep, you're wife is struggling to get up as well and you have to hold back the urge to yell and scream because you realize that as tired as you are, you're wife is equally tired (if not more so if she's breast feeding).

No according to my best friend's husband, it was

Eat, Sleep, SCREAM, Poop!

That was 14-15 years ago.  Time will fly.  Enjoy the simple times.  You wiill miss them when they become teenagers.

No, they still eat and sleep and scream, its just to a greater extent.   Also what they are screaming about is more complicated to solve than changing a diaper. ;)

Seriously, congrats, dude.  It gets way better from there.  The 3-6 year range is fantastic.

Overrated.  Terrible two's are what you make of it.  As long as you realize the child is lashing out because they can't communicate their wants/needs to you and they're frustrated about it, the terrible two's are a piece of cake.

Right, there's nothing terrible about the "two's" at all.  It's a time of enormous growth and capability, though frustration stems from a desire to do things that the motor coordination, strength or verbal capacity just can't support yet.  But from the frustration flows motivation.  It's all good.
