The lifestyle depicted in Mad Men is so absurdly foreign to me...

If you "watched all of five minutes of the show" you are in no way qualified to comment on the quality of the show.

Uhh... Care to point out where I call the *quality* of the show into question? Feel free, because I didn't.

I take issue with the concept of the show. Point out how wrong I was, because I wasn't. The show is a dreary look at office life, dark comedy in the banal 9-5 existence with soap opera BS interspersed throughout. Just this page I see someone going on about some affair? Desperate Housewives, ho!

Nowhere did I say the show sucked, only that life does and I watch TV to escape precisely what the Office revels in. Oh, wait. I did comment on the quality. I noted Carrell is a talented comedian, and even that isn't enough to overcome my dislike of the concept.

If criticizing a post, it helps to actually refer to *anything* that post said in your critique. K thnx have a nice day bye.

You know an amazing amount about the show for someone who doesn't watch it. Did you research "The Office" for 2 days to create another long-winded post basing your entire argument on the interpretation of one word in my post?

The first amphibious car- it's early and great.  You could also try the specials - Vietnam and Bolivia are my favorites with Botswana close

2nd season is where they unite the big 3. 1st season is pretty bleh actually.

To get to know the show you could go through and watch the specials. The Bolivia special was the first episode I saw.

Like just right now?  Wow, you have so much awesomeness ahead.

The first few seasons aren't as good as they are later.  All the specials are great.

^^

Apparently this was stretched out over more than one episode.  What I saw must have been spliced together.

I had trouble getting into the first two seasons, but seasons 3 and 4 have been riveting.  The goal is to be caught up by the season 6 premier, which should be a piece of cake!  Plus, it's taking up about half of the space on my DVR...

yeah, there were two or three episodes where they tried to destroy it.

Find the winter olympics special if you can, an oldie but goodie.

I've never really watched Top GearComcast On Demand currently has a lot of episodes available for free viewing, but they are in two separate places:

1. Under TV Shows, alphabetical, Shows T-Z, Top Gear has Episodes 1-6 for Season 3 AMERICAN copycat version (2012.) Expire Feb 5, 2013.
2. Under TV Shows, By Network, BBC America, Top Gear has 2 sections:
    a. Specials - expire March 1, 2013 - Apocalypse, James Bond, Top Fails Ep01, Top Fails Ep02, Uncovered (stunts and tomfoolery), At the Movies
    b. Best Ofs - - expire Apr 1, 2013 - 1 Best hot hatchback, 2 NASCAR and Hummer alternative, 3 Mobility scooter build, 4 Modified cars for train travel.

I wonder if they ever looked at the 1970-1972 Honda 600 coupe, 122.8 in. long, top speed 75 mph
