That is asinine. You make statements like this and then you are the first to nag about getting swept yet you are suggesting that after losing the first two you might as well not even try to win the last game. 
What's the point anymore? If we can't do better than 1-10 in a homestand against Pitt, Baltimore, and Philly, why even bother trying?
