Braves, Mets, and Phils are up against the ChiSox, Tigers and Indians starting tonight.  I'll be interested to see how those three series shake out after what those teams did to us.

Guzman is at short tonight. I don't understand why you wouldn't put your best infield defense on the field with a sinker ball pitcher pitching. Especially one that has been struggling.

Remember the NFL's Cris "All he does is catch TDs" Carter.
Starting to think Michael Morse is the MLB version.

The managers job is to put his players in the position to succeed. When Morse stops succeeding, then start nagging  :icon_mrgreen:

Can Riggs at least give Morgan an "off-day"

Over his last three games Morgan is 3 for 9 with 2 BB, and some great defensive plays in the outfield. I don't want to see a bat taken out of the line-up just as it is starting to heat up.

T Flush already had plenty of those while he was in the lineup.
How about Hammer getting a night off occasionally?
How about MM playing 2B for a game?
I actually like Desmond getting a night off during his struggles.
Looking at the chops on KC's pitcher tonight I think he may have watched too many WCW Cruiserweight matches during the Monday Night Wars.

Nyjer had a good game last night.  Desmond needed a day off.  I'm cool with this line-up.

Morgan is having a nice run of things lately. I think someone had a chat with him or he had one with himself.

Does this mean that Nieves is catching tomorrow?  For Strasburg?  Our Golden Calf being "handled" by Wil Nieves???

Yea Riggleman said he wanted to give Nieves a chance to freak up Strasburg so he wouldn't get too cocky.
