I'm glad to be done with Busch Stadium.

Actually, I'm really happy that we got our two games in this house of horrors out of the way.  We just seem to get destroyed at Busch Stadium for some reason.  I'm thrilled that we're out of there for good and now have a great chance to put this away on our home turf.

Likely Detwiler and Gio.  Not sure about the Cards.

Edwin smashing the Cards at National's Park in August. I believe.

Meh.  Cards are a formidable opponent.  Never thought they would roll over.  The bats showed us something tonight, even if the pitchers didn't.  I feel just fine needing 2 of 3 at home.  The 1:00 start bites, though, both because it will make it difficult for me to follow, plus the potential reappearance of the Sun Monster.

Edwin knows what to do.  What's left of Chris Carpenter will not keep this offense down.  Go Nats!

The Cardinals are a completely different team on the road and very beatable IMO.  This is nothing more than a 3 game home series at this point, the Nats have been winning those all year.  That said today gets my vote for worst loss of the year.

Agreed.  I feel a lot better heading to Nats Park tied 1-1 than if we were headed to Busch tied 1-1.

We'll win Gio's start in game 5 if it gets to that point.  Need to take one out of the two of the Detwiler/Jackson games.

i would like to see Tracy be the first PH off the bench.  we need Bernadina as an option late (for Right Field).

Did Bernie come in earlier this game? I missed a couple of the middle innings.

Yeah, he pinch hit for JZ in the early innings (4th maybe?).

Is he hurt?  Isn't that the only way you can make in-series changes?

How is it possible Davey didn't know Stammen was feeling well until after he took him out today though?
