The cut is something like 140 PAs or a certain number of days on the MLB roster.  I think DL time counts.

I thought the rule for these lists was any time in the majors disqualified

I hate to post this but maybe we should cut the list off at 10 or 15. We are desperatly trying to list prospects and we have put two guys on the list who won't be playing ball for a year. We had AAAA players filling most of Syracuses roster and I think the system is very thin. I wouldn't be surprised that if we are relegated to the bottom  1/ 3 rd in farm ratings this year.

Depending on how Rendon and Gio are ranked, I could see us in the middle

Those two guys are going to be all over the place due to different evaluaters factoring in injuries in different ways.

We haved studs at the top which should keep us out of the bottom 10, but we have very little depth which will likely keep us out of the top 10.

Agreed; there's no reason to go beyond 15.

Thanks for the input, while I see your point, I'd prefer to keep the list at 30.

To smooth over the rough gap at the back end of the list, I'm willing to chop the list to 20.

If that's agreeable with everyone, we can cut it at 20.

How about 20 and then a "watch" list thread of others that folks think might pan out.  No duplicates.

We may not have the depth of some orgs but there are plenty of prospects worth keeping an eye on in the system. Certainly enough to get to 30.

Outside of the 8 listed and 11 up for voting there are still guys out there like Benicasa, Hague, Keyes, Miller, Lee, Turnbull, Anderson, Jennings, Martinez, Read and Novas. (I really like Read).

Those names won't make any expert's list but that's not what this is about - at least not for me.

That's a good point, but how do you know enough to rank order guys like that?  I haven't seen any of them play.

We'll start with 20 and if the interest is still there we'll continue to 30.

I'll do the #10 prospect list tonight.
