and right on cue ... they lead off the show with us ... ESPN/baseball tonight would never do that.

that's why i love MLB Network (and doesn't hurt that I know a lot of people that work there 8))
Yup, that was awesome coverage.  "Comeback of the year" no doubt, look at that WPA graph.

I'm sure it will be a "Must C" clip on MLB.com which will have at least both Nats broadcasts on them.

As mentioned earlier, the Mariners TV is worth a listen too.
Here's the Mariners TV feed of the walkoff: http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=16146023

Johnny is not a good baseball PBP man. Everytime he's forced to do it I really don't like it. Would rather hear Kerr do it.

Balester's account of the walk-off:

Quote from: Collin Balester via Zuckerman and Kilgore
Balester on watching walkoff in clubhouse: "We're jumping around like we're 5-year-olds about to win a Tball game and get a sno-cone after."

How about Goessling? I think Ben is a good baseball guy. I think FP was even having a hard time working with Johnny tonight...he was just awful.

Why don't they let Charlie do it?  I think he did it in 2006 and kicked ass.

Because then your radio broadcast is all messed up, and I'm pretty sure MASN wants to stick with MASN employees for stuff like this. I like Charlie, he'd probably be fine, but I can see their reasoning.

It was interesting, too, the two radio calls were actually very similar.

I liked his call of the walk-off.

It was very solid. No problems with it. He was pretty bad early on, though.

Is there a replay of the reaction of the dugout when he hits the walk off?  I recorded Nats xtra and am skimming through it but I can't find it :(

Pretty bad is about accurate.  He repeated things a number of times.  For example, when Desmond was batting in the eighth, he mentioned at least twice that he was hit by a pitch in his previous at bat.  His walkoff call was pretty good, though.

On another note, from ESPN: "The Nationals have three walk-off base hits this year, and all have been home runs (Mike Morse, Danny Espinosa, Wilson Ramos). Only two other teams (Oakland and the White Sox) have had all their walk-off hits come via the long ball, and they only have one each."
