Steinbrenner is an owner. They can't hire Rizzo away to be a new owner.
I don't buy the Jays being great. Most of these paper champions that acquire a ton during one off-season fail horribly.
They need to develop a new core. They can pay for some free agents, but can't buy a whole team. This has been inevitable.
