I really appreciate Matt Chico ... more than almost any other Nat this year because he's a rookie, who's taken the ball every 5th day and done his job to the best of his ability - the ONLY starter to do so - but this is at least the 4th start in a row where he has just labored - the kid is gassed - there's no shame in shutting him down for a couple of weeks and giving him a rest ...

Seriously though, Chico gave us a chance to win once again.. His "bad" starts are just magnified because our offense is embarrassing. A normal offense would have at the least 2-3 runs at this point leaving us only down by a run or two.

i completely agree. But do you think we should shut him down for the rest of the season since its pretty late in the season or jsut give him a little vacation and how long should it be???
