Posting the Flyers logo isn't any worse than posting a Steelers or Giants logo in the NFL thread, but given the poster's history, it was likely to be treated as a taunt. The instant reaction with profanity was probably in good humor, but it served as the excuse for replies 2 & 3, and then thread devolved with posts 4, 6, 8 and 10 more or less dealing with him on a personal level (ban him calls, etc...), each of which led to return taunts. That is the nature of trolling.
He's not quite banned yet, but the penalties are escalating.
