Zimmerman because he hit a 2 run homer instead of a 5-run one?
What a loser!

The point I'm trying to make is that Baez could've gotten that hit off of ANY pitcher.  It was a freak infield hit.
that cost us the game. That's probably never even happened before. I've certainly never seen it.

No matter what anyone thinks, this team is a huge embarrassment and a National Disgrace. the season should be forfeit right now. just give us an 11-151 record and end the misery.

This loss has to be laid at the feet of the offense.

The offense shouldn't be getting laid if we lose...

Wells retired the first 5 batters he faced in a row.  He retired the first 3 to give the top of our lineup a chance, and they couldn't muster a single hit.  4 hits & 2 runs over 11 innings (soon to be 12) is not going to win you many games.

Couldn't even threaten to win.  >:(

No, because that's all he did.  That wasn't his only at-bat of the night!

We'd have had 18 runs if everyone in the lineup performed like Zimm tonight.

I'm surrounded by idiots.

You don't win games with 2 runs in 11 innings.

Kip Wells should never have been in this game.

Exactly, not to mention he had already gotten 5 outs and lost the pitcher on a freak hit.

yep, we had our entire lineup up with a chance to win the game against their terrible relievers and we couldn't even get a runner in scoring position.

We could barely get a runner, let alone getting a RISP.

 Willingham

I don't even want to watch this bullcrap team any more. They get great starting pitching and solid relief pitching and still can't freaking win.

The offense has picked a perfect time to crap their pants.

Belliard should get a solo shot here just so the baseball gods can rub this loss in our faces

Sherrill is noticeably heftier this season than last. Albers looks chubbier than he actually is...not that he's slim.

Offensive let down tonight.... that's the problem.  We only allowed 4 runs in 12 innings... not bad.  A month ago this would have been unthinkable.

Hammer on 2nd in the 2nd on a Belliard single.
Zimm to 2nd in the 6th on a Dunn walk.

That was it for RISP.

they are finally packing it in. I thought it was going to happen a few weeks ago but we are just now starting to see them slack off.
