See, they're going to win with top of their order and ours did nothing.

This loss has to be laid at the feet of the offense.

inexcusable. Fire Acta and just forfeit the rest of the season.

Kip Wells is such trash. good idea, throw a hanging slider right down the middle to the best hitter on their team.

meanwhile Clippard keeps throwing well in Cuse. 2 more scoreless innings for the Chiefs tonight. 1.50 ERA.

who the freak else should we blame? Acta?

Wells gave up a hit to the pitcher and then bent over for the top of their order. pathetic.

Um....  our stone-cold offense?

I'm not sure how you can blame Wells for an AL pitcher getting his first hit EVER on a surprise bunt, and a crappy one at that.

This is not Kip Wells' fault. This is Guzman's, Johnson's, Zimmerman and Dunn's fault.  When you only score two runs, you're not likely to win.

Scratch hit, a bloop and one hanger for a solid hit. The third out was the hardest hit ball in the inning.

Zimmerman because he hit a 2 run homer instead of a 5-run one?

they deserve blame definitely. but to absolve that piece of crap Kip Wells from blame for giving up a hit to the freaking relief pitcher is crazy.

He should have struck Baez out on 3 pitches. I've never seen anything like it. 2 outs, no one on base with Baez up and he rolls over. The O's manager was conceding the inning offensively by keeping their pitcher in there to hit.

I'm surrounded by idiots.

You don't win games with 2 runs in 11 innings.

Kip Wells should never have been in this game.

The point I'm trying to make is that Baez could've gotten that hit off of ANY pitcher.  It was a freak infield hit.

No, because that's all he did.  That wasn't his only at-bat of the night!

Wells retired the first 5 batters he faced in a row.  He retired the first 3 to give the top of our lineup a chance, and they couldn't muster a single hit.  4 hits & 2 runs over 11 innings (soon to be 12) is not going to win you many games.

Zimmerman hit a home run.

Guzman and Dunn were absolute trash tonight and deserve a lion's share of the blame.
