I predict that we'll lose it in 12.  In whichever way wastes the maximum amount possible of my time.

So this must be some rule I don't know.  AK hit for Beimel.  How could he still pitch to Huff?

Oh, ok, I thought that maybe there was some weird stipulation there where he would have been able to come back out.

yes he has. terrible swings all night.

NJ with a long fly out. this freaking sucks. So many chances blown. Our bullpen won't hold it forever.

This one is over.  Rolling over for horrible pitchers.  Wells loses the game in the 12th.

yep.

this is dreadful. both teams are trotting out terrible relievers and the offenses are stifled.

I'm still on track to be at least half right.  Unfortunately it's the half that matters :?

Wells will give it up to the bottom of their order? Sounds Nats-like.

At this point, you can't really blame the bullpen.  They've done the job very well thus far.  It's past time for the hitters to step up.

And then the bats will go quietly in the bottom of the inning.

I said last night that there's something wrong with this offense that Rick Eckstein needed to address.

Am I the only optimist on here?  Not that there's any rational basis for optimism, aside from the quality of our opponent.
