I believe he meant July instead of June.

I'll still take him up on that bet.

What are you, his statistician?
no, he has said July before. that was probably just a typo.

Why is Kearns getting starts over Harris? seriously

Have you run the math to see what he'd have to do to make your prediction? Basically 0 for June.  Ain't going to happen, not even close.

No.  I haven't done the math, which is actually surprising because I do the math for everything, especially before I go out on creaky, shaky limbs like this one.

When a team is so bad in extras, doesn't there have to be a reason?  I would think that extra-innings games would naturally tend to break even for most teams over a season.

bad bullpen and an unclutch offense.

They are incapable of giving their fans an exciting victory. This team used to win walk-off games all the time, even last year. I miss those :(

What sucks is the Nats should have won this 1-0. Umps completely botched that call earlier.

Because the team is also bad in the regular part of the game?

terrible performance by the offense. just gutless.

heart of the order due up for the Mets and all we have is Joel, Colome, and Tavarez.

I guess you've never heard the theory about 1-run games.

Manny Acta and Rick Eckstein need to address the problems on this offense.

Yeah..game's over. At least Manny doesn't drag out these extra inning affairs. He just puts Hanrahan out there to end it quickly.
