See? That's the offensive minded thinking I just never get. I guess I'm just defensive.

And you're offensive.

I think it's hitting related. When you thrown in the errors, it's just an added feature.

No, I just have this damned ability to read Manny Acta's mind. Actually, he is about the easiest manager to figure out.

can't vote on pitchers

It is ridiculous, but the all-star game is pretty much worthless overall, so I don't really care.  I remember reading a few statistical studies in college that showed that fan participation in the voting process actually had a very positive effect on viewership of the actual all-star game.  So, for that reason alone it is worth it for MLB to allow fans to vote.

Between you and the Great Falls Little League, Dukes might get a few thousand votes.  ;)

Kelly Johnson is batting .240 on the season but he is 7/11 (.636) against the Nats.

Good job by Lannan that inning, they are biting at his curveball, which is a very good sign.

Absolutely stupid not to have Kearns in the lineup everyday.  He is seeing the ball incredibly right now, and easily our best outfielder.

Which is his usual level of mediocrity.

Cintron hits a routine fly ball. i can't stand guys with no power that constantly hit the ball in the air

I got two that hit 90 on gameday, his average is b/w 88-89 normally.
