This team is so dysfunctional, so much so at times that it is hard for me to fully wrap my head around the situations they get themselves in. At the same time, this organization has had some buzzard's luck in terms of injuries over the years, which is equally disheartening.
In regards to Marrero, I'm not against bringing him up if LaRoche is out for awhile. If it is only 15-20 days, then I would say no. Marrero has been making some adjustments at Syracuse and needs at least another 100 at-bats @AAA before he should be considered even close to ready for the big show. I would use Aubrey for a short-term fix, but as others have mentioned someone would have to be DFA'ed (not that this is a problem, though, I see a few names on the 40 man that could easily be dropped).
