So, anyone know why Kemp gets to run with the Beast Mode thing?  Did Morse get it from him?  Did it come from somewhere else?  Does Kemp just have a better agent?

Juan Pierre actually started Beast Mode when he was on the Dodgers and then Kemp started saying it so it's neither of theirs

On the beast mode scale, Juan Pierrre is a Cheetah, while Kemp is a panther and Morse is a Lion.

AdamKilgoreWP: Michael Morse felt soreness throwing last night, had to be re-examined by team docs. He's not playing Thursday. Out indefinitely.
DanKolko: More bad injury news: Morse was pulled from yest's game at Hagerstown after 7in. Felt his strained lat again. Going for more tests. #Nats
acomak: Bad news for Michael Morse. He took himself out of the game in the 7th inn, having trouble throwing ball even back to SS. Being reexamined
AdamKilgoreWP: Davey says Morse had trouble reaching the shortstop from left field and took himself out of the game in Hagerstown. "That stresses me."
acomak: Morse's soreness/throwing got progressively worse Monday night, ultimately he took himself out. Timetable now unknown. #nats

Might as well sit him down and let him get healthy. We need him but we can stay afloat without him I'm sure.
Or put him at first since he can't throw if LaRoche loses it.

man oh man ... what stinks is he can hit and he can do so without any pain (or known that we know of) ... it's just throwing.  can't stick him at 1B b/c of LaRoche ... can't really relegate him to pinch hitter ...

just need rest, rest, rest ... waiting is the hardest part (unless of course surgery is recommended which would be awful).

"Feeling something" and going to New York for treatment NEVER ends well for the Nationals.

This is precisely why I didn't make any predictions because I fully expected every player currently injured is much more severely injured than we've been led to believe, most importantly Morse and Storen.

This is par for the course for this franchise.

yeah.

while you never want to see a prospect hurt (or anyone for that matter), when it's two guys you were expecting big things out of ... this sucks.

i really thought the fact he was in the line-up monday after treatment sunday ... that he'd be ready to rock on thursday.
