Nady and Espinosa both got hits tonight. Worth 3 more weeks of at bats?

I'd bet Davey Johnson thinks it is.

No. I saw what Pujols has become. I'd rather have the money to sign our.players to long term deals. Frankly, I think Hamilton will fade more quickly than Pujols.

nobody is going to give hamilton an 8+ year deal.  he will get low years (4-5) range with a high AAV and 2-3 years of vesting options

Our problem is depth, we need bench players who could start on other teams.

We aren't signing Hamilton. Holy crap, I'm going to have to ban myself for the off-season.

The thought of Hamilton, Werth, Harper outfield with Morse, Zimmerman, and the Bullpen

 :az:

Too much to ask for.

We're not getting Hamilton.  Ever.  If by some miracle we do, I'll take the Assclown avatar for two years.

Which sounds good until he actually hits the market and teams start bidding (did anyone predict the prince deal or the Werth deal, people laughed when they heard what Pujols was asking for)

Opposite.  I think Hamilton is a beast, which is why I'd rather not torture myself by futilely envisioning him in a Nationals uniform.  You aren't helping. :P

Hi. I'm Josh Hamilton. I hit 4 homers against the Orioles yesterday. You now want me on your team more than any other player.

Hi.  I'm Scott Hairston.  I'm the guy your team's GM will really be signing for "depth" next season, except I'll end up playing over 100 games.

We need STARTERS who could start on other teams. In LF, 2b, and SS.

We need our stars to play like it- the offense should be centerened around morse zimmerman and Werth - morse hasn't played yet, Zimmerman hasn't played well and has missed time and now Werth is done for the year- I could see the offense surviving one of those Gus being injured or inneffective, but there hasn't really been any point thus year where more than one of them has been healthy and playing well

Well Rizzo has got to do something?

The bottom of the order #6,7,8 spots just... kills the team

Last night... bases loaded 1 out.... and NO RUNS AGAIN

Ladson tweets the Nats depth chart and then adds: 'I'm expecting this to change tonight.'  What is he saying?
