The deal makes sense to me because one of those two draft picks could end up being the Bobcats' first superstar. Wallace is a very good player, but he's not someone you build a team around.

Doubtful. The picks are those of Portland and New Orleans, two good teams. It is very likely that they end up being picks in the early to mid twenties, making it quite doubtful that they'll get anyone with star potential.
