Nope. It's sad. We don't need to have a juggernaut offense to win the division. Just middle of the pack will do and would pretty much guaranteeing us winning the division. The rest of the division is turning out to pretty mediocre. But it won't matter unless they start hitting.

Exactly. But he can't be fired for some reason. Not sure what the hell that reason is, because he really freaking sucks as evidenced by our offense bending over for bad pitchers on bad teams.

Yes, it's called regression to the mean. If someone really impresses you with a superlative SSS performance odds are it was better than their true talent. Anyway, I don't think anyone thought Flores was a good hitter.

Maybe trade LaRoche or Morse for prospects and the other plays 1B. That opens a spot in the outfield if they can trade for someone. Not really sure who might be available though. I might just try Corey Brown and Tyler Moore for a while.
