Some of you act as if you're being forced to spend money on the team.  I guess I missed the memo.  I'm not part of the Lerner-hate bandwagon and yet I haven't been to a single game this year.  How is that possible?

You do nothing but nag about the organization.

yeah i guess they don't deserve it after 102 losses last year and 25 this season thus far.  the reason i'm nagging is because i care about it.

You can nag all you want. Just don't try to wrap yourself in a "care about the organization" flag

"We"?

oh whatever.  i'm not the only one who says that.  the nationals - the club we root for - are 70-127 over the last 197 games.  better?

No. The only person that says "We" is the 320 guy. Are you him?  8)

The most important thing Acta can do to save his job now is to meet with Rizzo and Kasten and demand that St. Claire be demoted or fired.  I think they would listen to him.  Acta has the excuse that he:

1) assumes that Claire knows what he's doing, and
2) Claire is most likely making all/most decisions on pitching, and when to go to the bullpen.

The Front Office already replaced the coaching staff in the off season, except for Acta and Claire.  The poor fielding fundamentals falls squarely on Acta, no excuses.  He never learned enough about managing to teach them.  So he now needs to dump Claire and Cabrera, and refuse to tolerate losing.

Give him (hammonds, not 320) a break...the very few people that call ourselves nats fans and are dumb enough to still invest ourselves in the outcome of the games have the right to refer to it as we from time to time.

Manny himself has said on multiple occasions that the talent he has this year is by far better than what he had in 2007.  We are on pace to lose about 20+ more games than we did that year.  Thus, he pretty clearly is not doing his job.

Hey Phil Wood,

What is your insider knowledge telling you right now?  After a 4-game sweep AT HOME at the hands of the Phillies?  How's Manny handling the clubhouse now since we don't have the insight you offer?

I blame Phil Wood for our lousy play this year.  If he had less access to the clubhouse we'd be better.

I say we don't fire Acta and we try having Phil(lie) Wood fired and see how that works.

It's not widely known among message board flunkies but Manny actually won us two of those games.  The W-L column may not reflect it at this time, but I have it on good authority that those numbers will be changed later when no one is looking.  Any insider would know this, you silly blogger.

Two more losses like the one this evening and something-almost anything-has to be done.  That would mean the Phillies AND the Pirates swept us at home. At this rate, the Nationals are on pace to wind 49 games this season. 49 GAMES!!!

The Learners are asking fans to pay top dollar for minor league performance. Lets face it-the Nationals don't have a major league bullpen, or IMO, a second baseman. I have been an Acta supporter from the far reaches of Tennessee, loyally watching games on Directv, but enough is enough. Get rid of Acta and St. Claire and send the bullpen on a raft into the middle of the ocean. Oh, and while I'm at it-DCab should be sent on that raft as well. I know, I know, the salary. Get rid of him and overhaul the bullpen with some high schoolers and the increase in attendance will pay the difference.

Will an 0-11 homestand get Manny canned?  If so, that's what I'm rooting for.  The manager has to take the blame for this debacle.  40 errors already?  That is bad fundamentals, which comes down to poor coaching.

I'm wearing paper bag to the game on Wednesday night.   I'm trying to decide what to write on it.  Probably either:  "Fire Manny and Stan" or "Proud Natinals Fan"
