http://www.clippersbaseball.com/news/?id=7574Looks like he is working out of his funk.
Cool. We need somebody to be ready if / when they pull the plug on Chico. Last I saw Clippard was throwing pretty well too.
I remember you complaining that one of our pitchers had accumulated stats against minor leaguers (which was false) But when Bergmann does it it's impressive?
Huh? Sorry, but I'm so tired right now that I honestly don't have a clue what you're talking about.
What's so crazy about Perez is that his numbers are based on "3 games vs. Accelerated MINOR LEAGUERS"
Personally, I don't think a newbie should be our Opening Night starter. More specifically, it should go to who looks to be our best pitcher and I'm not convinced that it's Perez. I'm glad he had a good outting, but it all his other outtings this spring have been terrible!!
Nope! He's [Bergmann] having a pretty good ST. I think he should be considered for OD.
According to Don or Bob, He's had 14.2 scoreless innings. As long as he maintains, he should be back. I'm guessing in a month.
I wish him well.
Of course you do
I do too! Like any other Nats player. I don't ever remember rooting for one to fail.(But I'm getting real close with Colome right now)
I can't say I'm rooting against Colome but I desperately want him gone from my team.
Colome = Jorge Julio
That's so on point.Jorge Julio = Armando Benitez (we may need to stay away from those hard throwing Dominican releivers )
I like Hanrahan. I know he's maddening and I usually have my hands over my eyes when he pitches. But his slider is off the table. He has been a starter all of his career,to give up on him after 6 weeks is foolish to borderline stupid.
You can add Winston Abreu to that list too. Felix Rodriguez also.
I dislike Felix Rodriguez even more than I dislike Colome.
