Yeah, Desmond needs to learn hitting from Zimmerman/Dunn, not Guzman. :bang:

Question for all at this point 2010 season would you rather have Belliard or Guzman?

Belliard by far.  At least he's a bench bat.

If Bruney blows this, just leave him in Chicago.

Desmond on Guzman

...and his approach at the plate, everyone on the team could learn something from him, especially me. He's aggressive, he swings at balls in the zone, he's not really worried about walking or striking out, those numbers don't matter to him.

They're not holding them out this time and the offense appears to be done for the day.  >:(

You can't depend on getting perfect pitching as your only way to win games.

double play here or this game's over...

we can't continue to throw bruney out there when he fails like this.

Despite his meltdown... Bruney is not a terrible pitcher. He does what he does... strikeouts tons of guys, walks lots of guys.

We'll keep this fresh in our minds for a bit...

If you're going to go Bruney, why not go to Burnett to get Fukudome?

I'm sorry that you're a fan of SSS. A career 4.3 ERA is nowhere near terrible.

Present results excluded.
