The hometown ump (Marietta, GA) is behind the plate tonight. I'll be extremely pissed if we have a repeat of what happened yesterday.

(Just read the account of the 1961 game in which the New Senators had a 12 - 5 lead with two outs in the 9th in Fenway...and lost on the Pagliaroni grand-slam. I was watching that game on TV. As the slogan says: "To be a Nats fan takes more than loyalty: it takes raw courage!")
