That's a homer. I can't believe freaking Clippard, what a choke job

I really hope we never meet in person.

I feel sick to my stomach.  No way this offense comes back to win in the bottom 9th.

That was Valdespin's sole goal, to hit a bomb out. That's what he does in every AB. I can't believe they threw him a strike. Clippard missing his location by a ton.
Exactly.  HOw do you throw him a strike?

So, when does the Storen talk start? This is two awful appearances in a row.

5th   Merry Tyler Moore homered to right.
8th   S Lombardozzi doubled to deep left, M DeRosa scored.

9th   J Valdespin homered to center, J Thole and D Wright scored.

                      New York Mets             3
Washington Nationals  2

But seriously. Worst loss of the season. Like it's always said around here, but this really is.

Clippard keeps crapping the bed. Makes me sick.

Gave up a HR  to a guy with a 2 walk - 15 K ratio. All he needed to do was throw a good fastball out of the zone.

Clippard bounces that pitch it's a strike out, instead he serves up a meatball

Clippard sucks 2 in a row.
Storen in Potomac tonight... Hopefully, we'll have him back soon.

This really is an awful loss.  About to send the Mets to another disheartening division loss and now we gave their season life again.

We definitely have the right people coming up in the bottom of the 9th.

Parnell is a good pitcher, but he's hittable. Not sure if he's coming in, though.

I don't trust the bullpen.

Let me amend.  I don't trust Clippard.

Strikes out the next guy.

Little late.

Blown saves are the worst.

Still weren't near where Flores had his glove.

Clippard's being hard to pick up is a blessing.

I'm listening to C & D from well outside the MASN zone, so not able to see.

What a punch in the gut. Had a chance to go up 3.5 games and put the Mets 7 games back. Now the Mets season has life again.

This is two awful appearances in a row.

and by my expectations, 4 out of his last 5 appearances have not been real good.

Well, I guess that is karma for Torres getting called out.

Still, bad location.  I was yelling at the TV saying elevator fastball, and he didn't elevate it.  Bad pitch.

With Clipp blowing a few and looking bad recently, the "automatic" decision to bring Storen back as a set up man is slowly turning back into Storen back as closer.

Clippard letting the team down at the worst time in the heat of the pennant race.

3 of his last 4 appearances have been disasters.
