Very winnable game lost because our offense sucks so much balls. We had about a bazillion opportunities with runners on and came up empty nearly every time.

Damn it! We had 13 guys reach base tonight, too. I REALLY want us to get Dunn next offseason.

It's been said a few times but it bears repeating, Acta has to shoulder part of the blame for the way he managed this game.

Statistically, this might not be the worst offense of all time but it certainly feels like the worst.

of course you do.  maybe Dukes shouldn't be playing baseball if he has such fragile feelings that it makes him incapable of hitting except for 2 isolated games ALL SEASON.

Yes, blame manny.. cause nobody else is to blame!

I'll admit, it was stupid not to bunt and to bring joel in the game. But your reasoning for blaming manny is because of last night, get over yourself.

I'm debating on whether I'm gonna watch this or play Mass Effect(which I just bought yesterday).  yesterday I wasn't around to watch the game and we hit 5 HRs.

i may play mass effect, while listening to the game on the radio. who knows.

Mass Effect = awesome.

and only 1 run scored. Only the Nationals. It's just a huge joke.

The ABs we have in clutch situations just sicken me. We get a lead-off long AB walk from Langerhans and then Guz is retired on 1 pitch and Dukes retired on 2 pitches. Where's the patience?

it's not just dukes. he killed any of the good vibes from last nights climatic win.

No. What did he say? I am watching the Mets attempt to lose their sixth straight.

is it just me, or does it seem like Phil Wood just didn't even watch the game at all when he is trying to call those highlights?

Ian Snell had lost each of his last 4 starts prior to this game.  :?

Tom Gorzelanny (tomorrow's Pirate Starter) has just 1 win in his last 5 starts and a 6.83 ERA on the season. Can't wait to see how many runs we pile up against him tomorrow.  :?
