We've been discussing this in the game thread, but warrants its own thread for sure.

I feel like this is going to go on for the next 3-4 years.  He feels a little tweak somewhere and the organization goes into crisis mode.  If this is going to keep happening just shut him down for the year, and you know if there is really something wrong better him get TJ sergery or shoulder sergery now than later when we may or may not be in a race for a playoff birth.

I really hope it just a  nerve problem or tendinitis  and nothing serious I mean we need him next year and for the years to come, I agree we should shut him down right now , sent him to Florida to rehab .  Hopefully we find out more later tonight after the game.

I am really really starting to dislike Ladson. He ran a story saying elbow injury when nothing has been announced to anyone else. A second after Ladson ran that story Zuckerman announced nothing would be known until after the game. His twitter wars with the equally unproffesional Craig Heist are just embarassing, and his unabashed hatred for Adam Dunn is just terrible.

Not to be a dick but the spelling in this post is hilarious.

Otherwise, it's really sensible.

There's another thread on this site that you should check out if you think he's unprofessional.

The Alternate Universe one? I have seen it, but seriously this guy shouldn't have a job. Goessling, Zuckerman, and Kilgore are great. Why are we stuck with this level of unproffesionalism?

MarkZuckerman #Strasburg flexor tendon in forearm strain. MRI tomorrow.

Forearm isn't completely out of the woods but it's not horrible news either.

THANK GOD!

Less often, flexor tendons may tear or be torn off the bone by a sudden pull against a strong grip, without tearing the skin.

How is this a thank god?

Strain is swelling, I believe. Tear is bad news.

I thought it was in his hand. Forearm is worse.

So Bill Ladson jumped the gun. Who are his bosses. I don't want this guy following the team. Christ, with his level of proffessionalism any one of us here could do the job.

Flexor strains appear to be a fairly common occurrence among major league pitchers; hopefully it's nothing but a speed bump.

We have to wait for the MRI to find out which it is.

Either way, I think it's safe to say it's time to shut down SS. No sense taking any risks.
