He looked great. I'm excited about the playoffs, they have a real chance.

Who do you guys want us to face? I want us to avoid the Islanders at all costs. I'd be fine with Toronto or Ottawa I think.

God no @ Ottawa

Anderson is playing out of his mind.  Too many bad recent memories of the Caps facing hot goalies in the playoffs and getting shut down.

Toronto. If Ovie dominates that series, Don Cherry might commit seppuku on tv

freaking fantastic.

I'll take some credit. I was in DC at the game when they won on Saint Patricks day and then they started getting hot.

A little Smithian gave them momentum.

Now that was a fun night.  Biggest regular season game since '08.  I made a deal with the devil, so I might have to root for Ottawa on Thursday.  freak you Rangers.   :rofl:

With St.  Louis  getting a Hat trick last night,  Ovie has to score a bunch of more points for MVP.

I think, at this point, they just need to stay healthy and hot for the playoffs.

Since it's playoff time (again) in Washington DC, I have to repost this from playoffs a couple season back;

One of the best intro videos I've seen. Very well done.

Crazy to think how excited we were those short couple years ago.

That Game 7 against Boston last year was pretty raucous.  We got a bar full of drunken Aussies (it was ANZAC day after all) in Whister chanting "Let's Go, Washington" to the chagrin of the one guy in a Bruins jersey.

Caps and the NFL draft give me an out in case the Nats are suckin' wind.

The Caps will probably bring the Hershey Bears so no one on the big club gets hurt.

They should at least give Wolski and Crabb some ice time.

Hmmm, that's an idea.   Maybe the Nats ought'a bring the Chiefs in for the weekend series.

Hell, the Suns have as good a chance against Cincy.
