6-on-4. No one crashing the net. freaking Ribeiro who is an assist man had to freaking take a shot because none of the stars would do anything.

Oh well, probably gonna lose a game or two along the way.

This is the best Caps team of this era. They have controlled almost all of this series. In years past we have one and a half threatening lines. Now we have 3 lines that can score.  They hardly take any shifts off. If they keep this up, they will go far barring another Halaking

Don't forget the CAPS too many on the ice penalty when the Rangers had 9 on the ice!  We'll win the next one.  Unfortunately I have a Nats game that night and.cant meet my Caps buddies in Manassas!

Wow,  you really should be coaching....you obviously know much more about hockey than Oates.

I was not pleased with the refereeing (though I suppose I never am). 6 to 3 in a playoff game, with the last one coming in the last 2 minutes? Come on.
They didn't play well last night, but I think they'll take it Wednesday and then win it at home. I'm very optimistic about this year's team.

Vancouver should finish the job of voiding their collective bowels in bed tonight.  You want playoff choke jobs?  No one else comes close...2 years running.

I love how the Rangers think they "built on something". You got a ton of PP's and got some anomalous goals. Is Brian Boyle really going to dangle and snipe again? Let them think that. Good plan

They have to be positive.   I understand that but damn, be real.

All of the Islanders (except maybe Nabokov) have been playing the best they possibly can. They are all "in the zone". Hustling. Winning pucks. Making some passes. I dont think they can keep it up for multiple series because they are just running on adrenaline, but it would be nice if they could oust the pens

Pretty much.

I am praying the Islanders stay hot enough to oust (or tire) the Penguins and then get cool enough to lose to us...

Hell of a battle in the OTT/MTL series.  Kind of like those "battles of Ontario" back before the lockout.

We dominated Game 3. We would have won if not for some horrible luck and horrendous officiating.

Gotta win tonight and close out at home. Lose tonight and it's a 50/50 series.

Interesting stat: Caps have NEVER won a Game 3 when up 2-0.

Except he would be dumping on the local team and trolling on behalf of the kielbasa stuffers (who are by the way not exactly dominating their series against the 8th seed).

The Caps are very shaky this full period. If the boys in white can make it to the end of this period at 0-0 then it's a victory in my book.
