It's funny how this is Lannan's career best year but I haven't been that impressed. He felt like a hell of a lot better of a pitcher in '08 and '09.

I'm not blaming him for that play, although Marrero should have handled that throw. That was on Lannan.

Regardless, he has looked very shaky since coming up.

Not when he sucked regularly. He was not a fantasy consideration. His strikeout rate is the best since 2008, but he still walks too many batters.

Regardless, he has looked very shaky since coming up.

That's the difference between a great Fielding first baseman and an adequate one. Guys like Laroche, Pujols and Votto make that play.
