I'll be working during the game, but at least I can participate in the GDT right now...

A win tonight and it's a .500 roadtrip, and that is something I'll gladly take every day of the week.

Amen to that!

.500 on the road, over .500 at home... that's how you make the playoffs!

Is Davey Johnson on the hot seat if his record falls to 0-3?  :stir:

I would imagine Davey Johnson is being paid somewhere between $5M- $7.5M to be a Manager/Consultant until the end of 2013. So no.

I doubt Rizzo even makes half that much.

Probably not. I've never got the opinion that Rizzo was money driven. He seems more into the tittle.

Point remains... if Rizzo is making half that much, I doubt Johnson is making it, either.

Johnson was making close to $2 with the Dodgers. I don't think he's take less.

Does this mean he'll be at the Park on Saturday in the cheap seats with us poor people?

Well he's old and lives in Florida. He'll probably leave early to hit the buffets

I would pay someone double my salary if I felt it was the key to keeping my job.

Most "name" managers make more than their GMs.

I don't know what this means, but I agree with it.

Unless you mean this
Quote
A tittle is a small distinguishing mark, such as a diacritic or the dot on a lowercase i or j. The tittle is an integral part of the glyph of i and j, but diacritic dots can appear over other letters in various languages. In most languages, the tittle of i or j is omitted when a diacritic is placed in the tittle's usual position (as í or ĵ), but not when the diacritic appears elsewhere (as į, ɉ).
