First postgame concert is after a 4:05 Thursday game in early June.  That seems strange.

If you're A STH, you can't swap out a plan game for 95% of Bobble head nights!

The thing about a shirt is that if I see it on somebody else, I know that the two of us are in a small, elite club. It's like "hey, we were both among the first 10,000 fans in the stadium on July 2, 2011, cool".

But yeah, of all the stadium give-aways, the ones I still have are bobbleheads, figurines, and such. They're durable.

Can you please share a link to the games that are blacked out for STH swap?

Interesting, and below that it shows the breakout of how they'll give RCR Loyalty Points out - you get double points for being in the park an hour before 1st pitch - ain't gonna happen for me.

Yeah, that's kinda strange.  I like to get to the park early, but an hour before first pitch is a stretch, especially on weeknights.

I'm sure it makes sense from their end.  They're giving ten extra points for being early, which equals 1/5 of a 50 pt ticket that costs $25.  So, the value of ten points is probably roughly $5.  Getting someone into the park an hour early with no game to watch must, on average, lead to way more than $5 extra dollars in concessions purchases.

Exactly- they know those people are likely to spend more on $9 beers and other concessions.  It's all about the $$$$$$.

What's the Vegas line on the over/under on the LaRoche vote percentage... 9%?

Clip the heavy favorite at 60%
and Mattitude at 31%

Ticket draft is going well, especially considering we have almost all lawyers in my group. :mg: We are up to pick #35 out of 60 and only started it 2 weeks ago.

The Jayson Werth Garden Gnome game (8/5) lasted until pick #32, which is too bad because I had next pick. :(

The JZ bobble head went very early (pick #8, but it was a Sunday game), Clippard went at pick #18 (to the partner who got
:w: erth), while the Ramos bobblehead lasted until my pick at #23.

Desi is still on the board, but the Werth / Clip person picks next before I pick again.  I've got to figure out whether I want the Cards or another the D-backs and Desi.

Has anyone heard anything about the free postgame concerts?  The first is on 6/5, so not really that far away, and as far as I can tell, they still haven't made any announcement of who will be playing.  Last year, didn't they announce them all before the season started?  Are they keeping it a secret, or have the not settled the arrangements yet?

Still nothing on their website.  But that first one is vs the Phillies, so you know it's going to be bad.  Maybe Hall & Oates bad.

I'm hard pressed to think of anyone more perfect for a post game concert than that, only way to top it would be if he played with Survivor.
