This is through the leukemia-lymphoma society.  They hold a fundraiser ever year for research for a cure.  "Pennies for Patients" is a program for students to learn about the disease and help other kids.  Andrew is this year's Honored Student for the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the organization.

 Best Vacation: Andrew's wish will be granted this fall when he heads to Disney World thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation! He and his sisters are very excited!
 Restaurant: Famous Dave's for bbq ribs!
 Movie: He likes Ben 10 and the Secret of the Omnitrix  &  Shrek. 
 TV Show:  He can't miss Ben 10!

right after Thanksgiving.  He's extremely excited about it.  The Make-a-Wish folks give everything, food, transportation, lodging, mad money, etc.  We don't have to pay a cent. They're really terrific and so very very kind!

They figure it's easy for kids to come up with spare change and they tell them that lots of spare change really adds up and can make a huge difference in helping to find a cure for blood cancers.  Andrew's school will be participating at a PTA event this school year.
