exactly.  it should've been ball 4 he was trying to get on base.  he got hosed, we got screwed.

What are you dense? Men on 2nd and 3rd, the cleanup guy is supposed to be knocking them in not looking to pad his OBP stats with walks.

sportsfan is loving this current Dunn slump because it gives him the chance to rip him and feel vindicated.

Maris has a perfect game working.   :worship:

he should have been trying to give us the lead in that situation.

it wasn't that bad of a call.

oh STFU, if it were flores or zimmerman you would be pissed as crap.  he was trying to get on base.

of course the goal is drive in the runs, but he had ball 4 ... why swing at a pinch that isn't a strike (but ruled one for some reason).

QFT he would've been all over the umpire and calling for his head on a platter.

they've taken it in the ass the last two days from Mitch Boggs and Todd Wellemeyer :?

Oh, so that means Willingham wouldn't take it in the ass like the rest of the Misfit Toys?

just because you thought it was a strike and we didn't, makes you right?  we all have our opinions here, dcfan.

Dunn failed miserably whether you think it was a strike or ball. He has been awful for over a week now and there is no denying that.

this board should be used in Anthropology and Psychology courses.

--------------

We all know SF has his favorites (who doesn't) but I gotta side with him on this one.  Dunn is very prone to leaving the bat on his shoulder.  in this situation, he has to try and get the ball in the outfield to bring in Johnson.

I didn't say it wasn't a strike. In fact I agree with DCFan that Dunn should be trying to drive in runs. I'm just stating the fact that we know sportsfan has an agenda to rip on Dunn because he hates him so he'll magnify everything bad about him out of proportion to strengthen his point while he will defend his pet players and deflect blame onto others or ignore their failures altogether.

I don't have an agenda to rip Dunn. He has been awful and deserves to be trashed. we can't afford to not take the lead in that first inning.

The beauty of the Fios DVR. I just replayed that at bat, strike 2 was a bad call as backed up by the MASN pitch track (inside) but strike 3 was on the money. Good call and way too close for Dunn to be taking.

Sure SF. As long as you keep telling yourself that lie maybe you'll end up actually believing it.
