The game baby, the game.    Will they check the stadium for damage or whatever?

It better be on! I assume they'll check things out, they are doing that at my place of work now. But I don't think anyone is going to miss out on a chance to sell $8.50 beers.

Edit: I just checked the Nats website, and there is nothing about cancelling tonight's game. So I reckon it's on!

Don't think they'll do this, but they should...

DBacks just traded Kelly Johnson for Aaron Hill.  I doubt they'll have Hill available for tonight's game.

Should be an awesome game tonight. I'm excited about this pitching matchup.

I've said all season long that the D-backs were playing way above expectation. I think these two teams are closer matched than meets the eye.

We are delaying opening CF gates for tonight's game. Check nationals.com for further updates as we review the situation.

METRORAIL INFO: Per WMATA.com and Dr. Gridlock's blog, all trains are restricted to 15 mph until further notice while they inspect all the tracks throughout the entire system. Allow extra time if you plan to take the subway to the game tonight.

On Espinosa's grounders at short: It's just a drill. Likes to take them there "to keep my feet moving." He says he won't be playing short.

Holy smokes.

I remember when the Pope celebrated Mass at the ballpark, but I didn't know he was a fan of Ben's Chili Bowl.

Two of my coworkers just said the Metro is a freaking disaster.  Slow, slow, slow and WAY overcrowded.

Remember if you smell gas at the ballpark, you probably are ok.  It is most likely the lingering filthy fan odor.

My wife normally boards at Foggy Bottom. She's decided just to go over to the Kennedy Center to see whatever free show is on the Millennium Stage and then try the subway around 7:00. We don't have tickets to the game and were going to watch it on TV. I guess the downside is that now I have to stick to lemonade during the game since I'll have to go pick her up at the Van Dorn stop during the game instead of beforehand like usual.

Thanks for the info from your coworkers. I'll pass it on to my wife to let her colleagues know.

#Dbacks bus left Pentagon City at 4:15. I just drove in the same way. Can't imagine they'll reach ballpark before 6:00.

It took me 2.5 hours to get back to MoCo from the park. I took the Circulator to Union Station, which was closed, so I had to walk to Chinatown and sit in that cluster for another 90 minutes.
