For those going tonight: updating Yahoo! Weather, 30% chance of rain today (isolated thunderstorms) but not tonight.

Latos will pick up his first career win tonight at Nats Park. We have seen it 100 times.

WMAL reports a man was killed on the Metro tracks today so they said to expect major delays on the red line this afternoon.

If Mock Cat doesn't have a good outing, we might have to unleash this little guy on him:

Another game with no Kearns and Belliard. I am having confidence that Jim Riggleman might be smarter than Manny Acta.

But it worked out so well for us, it helped Guz break his slump (0 for 21?)

Given the players in the lineup, I'd like to see them in this order, just to see how it works:

Harris
Johnson
Dunn
Willingham
Zimmerman
Gonzalez
Guzman
Bard
Mock

no nyjer?

i probs wont even watch. we'll get smoked pretty good by a terrible hitting padres team. if mock can't pitch well against this team, he can't pitch in the majors.

Riggleman said he was going to give all the regulars a day off during the homestand.  I think it was just him and Willingham so far that haven't had a day off.

who knows. How do they expect him to hit better when he hasn't started a game since before the All-Star break?

I guess the organization has given up on him.

if mock/martin can't go 6 innings and give up 3 or less against the Padres they should be sent down and if we can't score 4 or more in these 3 games we should trade all position players.

If Mock gets it rolling early he will dominate. I sure hope so.

Mock is so awful it's unbelievable.

I'm done with him. AAAA pitcher in the mold of O'Connor.
