One thing this franchise is sorely missing is a bunch of ex players still in the area to comment on the current team, it will be nice when we can have old timers days and when the TV crew are ex Nats.

You know, a Nats/O's old timers game played in conjunction with the interleague series would be pretty cool.

Old timers doing color on TV, old timers doing the Saturday morning call in shows, old timers at Nats Fest, old timers throwing out the first pitch, not having any players from the 70's, 80's, or 90's we're missing out on all of that stuff.

For opening day 2015 I'd like to see a re-creation of the 2005 game where we have the old timers take the field and then have the current starters come out, only it will be the 2005 starting lineup on the field first.

Good article from a friend of mine dated 2005.  I went to nearly all the events mentioned in this article.  Proud to call Tom, Jim and Hank my friends!
