That would be easy to mention but no one's saying anything.
How would anyone know? He's in the clubhouse.

The difference is we knew right away what was wrong with Bryce because they talked about it.

Harper keeping the batting gloves in his back pocket for this at-bat. Just rubbing a bunch of dirt on his hands.

Hey they are in the same clubhouse.  Harper had the flu for days before they announced it.  Yeah and I got BRonchitis a week ago.  It happens!

It's not like the beat reporters have access to LaRoche during the game.

:smh:

Nats have dominated Braun all series and still going to settle for a split against that awful team who just got swept by last place Phillies.

1B Adam LaRoche left today's game in the middle of the 4th inning with back tightness. He is listed as day-to-day.

Gio was a no show - 2 walks and a hit batter in the first followed by a misplay on a slow comebacker to him leading to two runs.  Then walking Braun on 4 pitches and soemhow allowing him to score on a single to left.  We look as bad in the field today as we do at the plate.  Maybe they all just want to get home.  Too bad we can't take advantage of a 13 game winner against a minor leaguer.

Gio started us off badly but the offense should be doing more. Espinosa, Harper, and Bernadina have been disappointing in this series.

Yup, a 5-2 road trip is awful

Also, that happened before the game and they could still get access to players.  Not so simple in the middle of the 4th.

The Braves are about to win their 5th straight. Our lead will be down to 3 games if we don't come back.

Just splitting a road series isn't enough when the team chasing us refuses to lose.

Great, we have Desmond on the IR, Laroche out, Harper sick and slumping, Flores falling apart and no better options, and I hold my breath that Ryans shoulder will hold up every time he moves.  Does that about cover it?  Oh yeah, and Jordan Zimmermann is having trouble getting loose when he warms up.  Great - who is ready for a pennant race?
