That....thing...in the outfield is the epitome of tacky.

Like the old Liberty AVE on a Saturday night.

Edwin's ERA now sits at 3.98, worst on the rotation. He's been garbage for weeks.

i don't feel good about ross detwiler either.  the dropoff of top 3 to back 2 is like the one of ramos to flores.

we need another SP.

He's got no confidence. He has looked weak all game. Put in Gorz to stop the bleeding.

Yes, we need another SP badly. Detwiler and Edwin won't cut it in September/October. Gotta add a proven veteran like Dempster.

Finally! We should be able to get more runs off of Zambrano.

Seems like he loves to admire his handiwork more than most.

Dempster's career ERA is like ten points better than Jackson's, and that's including his ridiculous year.  Dempster's career ERA- is 101, Jackson's is 95.  I hope you aren't proposing we give up too much.

You can't give up that bomb with 2 outs to Hanley. Inexcusable. Make a freaking pitch and get out of the inning. He wilted.

Like the old Liberty AVE on a Saturday night.

The old Alcoa or Clark bar signs had less neon and colors!

Who cares about their career ERA, Dempster has been multiple runs better this season. We only need him for 2-3 months, not for 10 years.

So wait, I'm confused--do you want him for his proven veteran-ness (career) or his obviously unsustainable season?

Both. He has a track record and he is pitching unbelievable this season. Edwin has gotten worse, Dempster looks stronger than ever.

good hits by Morse and Danny. Can't afford to squander this. Need Bernadina/Flores to tie this game up.
